Our Fall Children, Youth & Families grant cycle deadlines are approaching. We will be focusing on Early Learning and Transitional-Age Youth.

Should your nonprofit apply for a grant?

Yes, you should if:

1.) … your agency meets our geographic eligibility requirements

We make grants to public and nonprofit organizations located in Sudbury and the contiguous communities, including Acton, Concord, Framingham, Hudson, Lincoln, Marlboro, Maynard, Natick, Stow and Wayland.

In addition, grant support is available to organizations based outside of our catchment area for activities that substantially benefit residents from one or more of the towns listed. These applicants should demonstrate the depth of their Children, Youth and Families programming in our region.

2.) … your nonprofit offers programming geared to early education/parenting education or transitional youth. Read the CY&F Track Descriptions 2014.

3.) … your organization is seeking funding for a capacity building project. Eligible projects include:

  • Strategic and/or business plan development
  • Board and/or staff professional development
  • Fund development plans and systems
  • Program evaluation Financial management and/or IT systems and expertise
  • Communications systems and expertise
