Summer Reading
School’s over for the year but learning shouldn’t be. We need to keep kids reading over the summer. Parents, older siblings, grandparents, day care workers, camp counselors, babysitters and friends: Take time to read to/with the young people in your life.
These books, compiled by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center staff, are a good place to start. They highlight kids who have the courage it takes to act and stand up for what they believe in.
