Advice from a Formerly Lonely Student

You may have seen this video last year by Cornell college freshman Emery Bergmann which went viral on YouTube. It relayed the unanticipated loneliness she experienced when school began and her disappointment in not finding her "new best friends" as soon as she stepped foot on campus. Clearly, a lot of students related: The video has received more than 325,000 views.
