Year End Review and Look Ahead

Looking back on my first year as Executive Director of the Sudbury Foundation, I’m in awe of how much we have accomplished.

This past year, we granted $1.78 million to 78 organizations across the Commonwealth. Grants were made to organization providing hunger relief, improving racial equity, increasing capacity, improving youth emotional well-being, helping small farms and local food systems, and enhancing the local community. Click here to learn more about our most recent grants.

During the course of the year, I met with over 70 organizations, from farms across Massachusetts to small, local nonprofits. It was an amazing experience to learn more about our grantees and the important work they do.

In 2023, we will be continuing all of our current grant programs, but we are changing the timing of our Children, Youth & Families Grant Program. Both the Capacity Building and the Youth Emotional Well-Being grant tracks will be open at the same time in the Spring of 2023. A full calendar can be found here.

I would like to take a moment and thank you for your support and partnership over the past year and I look forward to working with you next year.

Sincerely,

Sonia
